Police raid suspects in Germany and Italy


Police in Germany and Italy raided the homes and offices of 21 people suspected of a number of acts of vandalism, including arson, against bioscience and other targets.

The Italian Police of ROS and corresponding provincial authorities carried out raids in different Italian and German regions on Wednesday. The local prosecutor of Bologna arranged thirty personal searches against 21 people believed to be responsible for a series of acts of arson and other damage targeting a variety of industrial targets. 

These individuals are believed to be part of a group who have targeted animal testing for a number of years. The group is also implicated in attacks on other targets including companies engaged in research and experimentation, fashion, financial intermediation, banks, telecoms and nuclear industries.
