About eight hundred guinea pigs were stolen from a farm at Alzate, Momo in Italy. ALF claimed responsibility.
According to the owner, Joseph Bettinardi, around 800 guinea pigs bred for research use were stolen on the night of 5th September, 2013. A statement by the Animal Liberation Front claimed responsibility.
Bettinardi said, "The theft has cost me at least € 20,000 and I think none of those animals have survived."
