The Royal Institute research facility at San Roque, 59km from Sao Paulo, was attacked for a second time. Mice and other animals were removed and facilities and vehicles vandalised.

Three security guards were tied up during the break-in.

It was announced last week that the facility would close down because of the first break-in.
